For quite some time now, I've always been opposed to all religions. In my opinion, they just diverse the world into something that can then kill itself. Why take so much pains, follow rituals, worship someone who you don't know to truly exist, rather than face up to reality and start looking at everyone the same way you'd look at someone who you share a common religion with?
It is this blatant disregard to human life that has lead to the loss of so many lives, and pretty much the underdevelopment of mankind.
And then there are religious wars. An excuse to prove dominance. Costing time, money, resources, and most importantly, lives. Precious human life is wasted because of the short sightedness of a FEW blind fools who refuse to value them.
And even in our own homes, many families impose their beliefs on us. Some choose to believe and follow what they are told, and others (Like me), choose to disregard this and treat society as one. India in particular has a lot of issues about caste and creed. Even INSIDE the Hindu religion, there is much squabble due to the pitiful caste system.
Why am I writing all this? Well simply put, this is a good way to ease my frustrations. WHY can't the world ever understand that everyone is the SAME, even if they are DIFFERENT? This may not make sense to most of you, but it is my key principle. No matter how different your beliefs, how different your sense of approach, the end result is always the same. So why fight over how you get there?
Thanks for reading ^^. Please do let me know your thoughts on this
